Biography

Marie J. Magdaleno, known as Jackie, is an Award Winning filmmaker originally from Brownsville, Texas. Her first film, "Fearless Fight," was selected and nominated both internationally and nationally, winning awards and landing a Global Distribution deal with Hewes Pictures out of New York City. Since then, she has written and directed a special series for PBS titled, "Redemption: Between the Lines" and contributed to the Netflix special, "One Day on Earth." She has directed other films with her latest film, "Petals," getting nationwide recognition across the film festival circuit. Her latest project which she has agreed to direct will consist of a 6 time national boxing champion.

Jackie has also worked as a Wardrobe Production Assistant on the set of, "A Night in Old Mexico," which starred Robert Duvall, Jeremy Irvine and Angie Cepeda. She then worked as a Property Master for the movie, "Endgame," starring Rico Rodriguez, Valente Rodriguez and Efran Ramirez.
