Bella Thornton(I)

Bella Thornton grew up a geeky girl in Utah, shooting short films between church and her night gig at her dad's haunted circus. She's based in LA and has funny and brutal stories to tell about girls and monsters. Bella graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in Comedy Writing and Performance (2023.) She was a writer/performer for the Comedy Studies Semester at The Second City and performed as Lady Macbeth in RADA's Shakespeare Conservatory in London (2023.) Bella's pilot script, "Fool", placed third in the LA International Screenplay Competition, and alongside "The Rabbit Hunters" and several other scripts was in the top 4% of Coverfly and featured on the Red List. With her pilot "The Rabbit Hunters", she was selected as the Nyx Horror Collective Fellow and was sent to Vermont for the 2025 Stowe Story Labs and made a quarter-finalist in the Final Draft Big Break Competition (2025.) In 2024, she brought her children's book "The Bad Bad Thing" to the Printer's Row Lit Festival with her creative duo, Scribbly Nobodies. Bella works as a 1st Assistant Director and 2nd Unit Director on several highly streamed micro-drama projects in LA. And yes, she still sneaks around making stories about girls and monsters. It's kind of her whole deal.
