Michael John Benzaia is an American actor raised in New York’s Hudson Valley. His heritage traces to northern Spain, Sicily, and Jordan, influences that have shaped both his perspective and the depth he brings to his work.
After earning an MBA and building a successful career in medicine, Benzaia transitioned into acting, where he has appeared in Hacks, Fallout, The Accountant 2, and The Young and the Restless.
In 2026, Benzaia appeared alongside Mark Ruffalo, Ethan Hawke, Don Cheadle, and Laurence Fishburne in All the President’s Men, directed by Ethan Silverman. He has been quoted stating that "reading All the President's Men is a crucial reminder that free press isn't history it's a living responsibility and its relevance today is undeniable."
Benzaia was theatrically trained on a scholarship through the Stella Adler Academy of Acting School in Los Angeles, CA. Michael's Father was a NYC police officer, his mother who since has passed a school teacher. Michael graduated in 2019 from UCLA's spec/pilot television writing course in Los Angeles CA. Benzaia is also the author of Picture This!, a children's book that introduces young readers to diagnostic medical imaging in an approachable and educational way. He has been directed by Amy Schumer, Jonathan Nolan and Awkwafina. He has worked with actors such as Viola Davis, Robert DeNiro & Mariska Hargitay.
