- Geoff Hecht is a San Francisco-raised Animation Director, Creative Director, and Producer now based in Las Vegas, NV, with a deep understanding of the artistic process, technology, and choosing the right tools to build successful workflows.
His previous animated short, Metro6, was accepted into six Oscar-qualifying festivals, won best in category six times, and was nominated ten other times across the festival circuit. It also ranked near the top 100 animated shorts worldwide on FilmAffinity for 2020.
Between 2011 and 2018, Geoff founded and co-owned Hectic Digital, a boutique Animation and Vfx studio in San Francisco, where he directed a roster of artists who have gone on to work at studios including ILM, Weta, MPC, and 2K. The company was sold in July of 2018.
