Born in Germany, Barbara Seidler moved to Austria with her family when she was eleven. She began her studies of Theatre-, Film-, and Media Sciences at the University of Vienna, but changed her focus to editing when she was accepted to the Film Academy of Vienna, a faculty of the University of Music and Performing Arts. She finished her Master's and works as an editor of various fiction and documentary formats.
