Helmut Meijer is an award-winning Dutch/South African music composer, record producer, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, widely recognized for his contributions to the local and international music industry. In 2021, he authored and released his autobiography, 'Fractal - A Tale of Three Interventions.'
Having completed a Master of Philosophy (cum laude) in Music Technology at the University of Stellenbosch in 2004, Helmut embarked on a career spanning more than two decades. He has produced and composed thousands of songs for both South African and international artists, establishing himself as a versatile and sought-after music professional. His achievements include awards, such as ATKV Liers, Namibian Veertjies, Ghoemas, Gospel Music Awards and South African Music Awards (SAMAs).
Helmut Meijer is the owner of the boutique Production company, Helmut Meijer Music, known for its commitment to virtuosity. Additionally, he co-directs "Stonebed.io" - a premium South African Film Music Library, contributing to the development of a premium cinematic landscape.
