Gabriel Salazar Vergara

Chilean historian.
Graduated from Pedagogical Institute of the University of Chile.
Also has a degree in Philosophy and Sociology.
Ph.D. in Economic History from University of Hull.
Member of the Chilean Revolutionary Left Movement (aka MIR) from 1970-1979. He was tortured by Pinochet's agents at Villa Grimaldi and Tres Álamos.
Lived exiled in UK from 1976-1985.
