Biography

Diego Romero was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico. He attended West Las Vegas Public Schools from elementary through high school and New Mexico Highlands University for college.

Diego took part in local theater productions from a young age, doing background in television and movie productions that were shooting in the area. As a Mass Communications undergrad, he continued his theater and background work, in addition to stand-in work. After graduate school and while working as a multimedia developer, Diego returned to background and stand-in work, expanding into small roles in television and movies.

Diego is also a multimedia developer, an award-winning photographer, and writer. The state of New Mexico has nine of his photographs hanging in state buildings throughout New Mexico as part of the Art in Public Places permanent collection
