As the 2nd engineer and stage hand for CBGB's on the Bowery, James'
introduction to production sound was clearly through live music during
the space rock and post-punk heyday. After returning to school for a
degree in public policy and the environmental sciences, James closed
out the last of his post-production and implementation in sound design
for new media, software development, and games. Since his studio in the
original Chelsea Arts building has been flawlessly received as a talent
and go to for pristine location dialog. He continues to practice under
his original banner, Engine Room, or perform by his dj handle, Bra Duro
(braduro).
