Biography

Daniel Buira was an actor and composer, known for Rolling Family (2004), Figli/Hijos (2001) and Los Piojos: Desde lejos no se ve (1998). He died on March 21, 2026 in Morón, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

He was drummer of the band Los Piojos.

Has a son Caetano who is also a drummer.

In 1995 he founded his percussion school and murga group La Chilinga, which also functions as an NGO dedicated to prison education.
