Biography

Current members are Zetro Souza, Gary Holt, Lee Altus, Jack Gibson and Tom Hunting.

Kirk Hammett was the original guitarist of Exodus, until 1983 when he left the band to join Metallica as the replacement of Dave Mustaine. Hammett was replaced in Exodus by Rick Hunolt, who performed on Exodus' first six studio albums, up to, and including, 2004's "Tempo of the Damned".

They are credited as the first Bay Area thrash metal band to exist.
