Jamie Ruben is a Toronto based composer, musician and music producer specializing in composition for Film and Television.

Jamie has worked extensively writing music for Vice On HBO/Showtime, He has composed 8 Docu series themes including Hours to Kill (A&E), Project Bakeover (Entertainment One), Strange Creatures ( BBC Earth) , Unusually Normal (OutTv). Jamie has also scored several Canadian feature films including 'Lovecraft Exogenesis' and 'Deadly Inferno'.

His production style involves a tasteful marriage between Live, analog and digital worlds.In recent years Jamie has added the use of live session musicians recorded remotely online in their studios around the world. Jamie plays and records his own electric, acoustic, classical and homemade guitars as well as bass and kalimbas. Live instruments are used both conventionally and as an ingredient in audio/textural/sound experimentations.
