Brazilian Producer Yuri Sanada is a writer, director, producer, cinematographer, and TV host, with international awards including 2 Lumiére from the Hollywood Advanced Imaging Society. Navigator and explorer, he crossed oceans several times developing and executing scientific expeditions around the world. He was accepted as a Fellow Member of the exclusive Explorer Club. An NAUI Scuba Diving instructor, he began filming underwater in Japan, where he opened a Diving Operation from 1991 to 1994. Author of several books, with a literary award at the São Paulo Book Biennial in 2001. After living in other places in Europe, the Middle East, and the USA, for over a decade aboard sailboats, he returned to Brazil in 1995 to create the Production Company Aventuras Produções e Edições Educativas Ltda. Since then he has been producing TV and Streaming Series, feature films, and special expeditions executed on 6 continents, such as the first Brazilian IMAX film. An international speaker, and an environmental activist who created the Casa Orgânica and Earth Odyssey projects, he develops productions from his sustainable home and studio in Brazil. He has several projects under development on a variety of topics.
