Blaine Childers is a Chicago-based actor, filmmaker, production professional, and entrepreneur whose work spans narrative film, commercial production, live broadcast, AV systems, and high-pressure event environments. A self-taught multidisciplinary creator, he has built a career through hands-on execution across camera operation, cinematography, videography, live streaming, audio, video switching, signal flow, graphics, production management, and technical direction.
His work brings together both the creative and technical sides of production, allowing him to move between performance, camera work, live-event operations, client-facing production strategy, and real-time technical problem-solving. His background includes nationally televised commercial work and projects connected to brands and organizations including Kleenex, Culver’s, Chase Bank, Buffalo Wild Wings, Honeywell, ShedWool, HALLS, Goodyear/Dunlop, and author James Patterson.
In live music and broadcast-style environments, he has worked multiple Christmas shows and side shows with the Buddy Rich Big Band as a camera operator and video/graphics technician. His live-production experience includes operating under real-time pressure, building reliable visual workflows, supporting live stream environments, and helping productions move cleanly from setup to execution.
Through Bouncing Tiger Studios, he develops cinematic production work, branded content, and technical media solutions for clients. He is also building Run Of Show, a live-production training platform focused on camera work, switching, signal flow, set operations, troubleshooting, and practical field execution. As both a filmmaker and production professional, he continues to develop original creative projects while helping organizations, creators, and businesses build stronger visual systems and tell better stories.
