- Aoife McArdle is a Northern Irish filmmaker whose work includes music videos, film, and television drama.
She was a director and producer on the first series of the universally acclaimed Apple TV drama series, Severance, receiving DGA, Emmy, Hollywood Critics and Ifta nominations for her work.
She has directed music videos for Bicep, Jon Hopkins, Anna Calvi, Bryan Ferry, U2, Bloc Party, Simian Mobile Disco, Coldplay and Wilkinson.
In 2021 she directed All Of this Unreal Time, an immersive installation and short film starring Cillian Murphy, which launched at Manchester International Festival and Tribeca Film Festival.
In 2017, her debut film, Kissing Candice, had its international premiere at Toronto Film Festival and European premiere at Berlinale and emerged as a critics' favorite.
McArdle has also directed award-winning TV commercials for clients that include Nike, Playstation, Under Armour, Honda, GQ, Squarespace, Audi, Absolut, Diesel and Levis.
