Chantel Beam was born on January 21, 1991 in Anaheim, CA. They are a queer non binary cinematographer, photographer and director. As a teen, they began photographing hardcore shows at underground music venues in Orange County. Chantel would later attend San Francisco State University to study film where they were introduced to shooting on celluloid.
