Geno Marx is a writer, director, and producer originally from Chicago.
Drawing from a multicultural background of European and Indian/Sri Lankan heritage, his work explores identity, resilience, and the complexities of human relationships.
At an early age, Geno discovered storytelling as both a creative outlet and a means of connection. He won a Young Author’s Contest at twelve, an experience that sparked his passion for filmmaking and set him on a path toward a career in the industry.
After moving to Los Angeles, he built his foundation working as an editor and videographer, developing a hands-on understanding of visual storytelling from the ground up. His perspective deepened further through life experiences, including becoming a father to two premature sons-an event that profoundly shaped both his worldview and creative voice.
Geno’s work often navigates themes of survival, trust, and the search for belonging, blending grounded emotional truth with genre-driven storytelling.
