Marc Martinez is an award-winning director, cinematographer, producer, and editor whose work spans genres but remains rooted in raw emotion, bold visual storytelling, and high-stakes humanity. Born in Cuernavaca, Mexico, and raised in Southern California, Martinez brings a distinct cultural perspective and a deeply hands-on filmmaking approach to stories exploring identity, loss, survival, obsession, and the psychological cost of transformation.

Martinez made his feature directorial debut with the psychological thriller 50K, which was released on Amazon Prime Video and introduced his character-driven approach to suspense. He followed it with The Memory in My Heart, a dramatic feature starring Diana Elizabeth Torres and Jessica Morris, which he directed and edited.

As a cinematographer, Martinez earned a Best Cinematography award for the independent feature Cold Blows the Wind, further establishing his reputation for emotionally charged imagery, expressive lighting, and polished visual execution under demanding production conditions. His experience across directing, cinematography, producing, editing, color, sound, visual effects, and music gives him a rare command of the entire filmmaking process, from initial concept through final delivery.

Martinez leads The Robb Company, a long-standing talent and literary management company that serves as the parent organization for his creative ventures. Its film production subsidiary, Robb Squad Film Company, develops and produces original narrative projects with an emphasis on distinctive voices, commercially viable storytelling, and cinematic ambition.
