Cecilia Säverman is an actress and writer based in Sweden. She started acting when she was nine, and in later also started writing and producing plays and short films. She has been awarded the City of Stockholm Scholarship for Performing arts, for her historic portrayal of the Swedish princess and pirate "Cecilia Vasa", and has received recognition at film festivals around the world for her roles in "A Film about Nice Guys" and "The Star".
Born in Stockholm but attending an English school for twelve years has led her to work in both Swedish and English. She has a Masters Degree from The Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts.
