Took his first acting class in the summer of 2009, an on-camera intensive at NYC's T Schreiber Studios. He shared this class with actress Julia Garner.
Turned to screenwriting due to his frustrations and struggles as an actor. He wrote his first feature, an urban basketball drama he still considers his most beloved script, in 2010.
