Cory co-starred in the period piece Amazon Prime series "The Last Tycoon" starring Matt Bomer and he played pivotal and stirring roles in film festival winner "Bad Bet" and Funny or Die's front page feature "Ex Bros". - As a teen, Cory won consistently at weekend acting tournaments and learned the trade from coach Doug Withiam.
- Cory challenged his youth center and middle school's constitutions and became the first male cheerleader in his town. As a fourth grader, he was only allowed to cheer inside a Tiger mascot costume his mom sewed for him. But 100-degree summer Saturday afternoon weather did not bode well for Cory who was near heat exhaustion cheering inside the fur costume. So in fifth grade Cory challenged his youth center and became the first male cheerleader. Also, in sixth grade school officials legally amended old rules so males could tryout for the 7th-12th grade squads. Cory made it each year and was "Captain Kirk" to his squad-mates as they won cheer competitions frequently. He was featured in American Cheerleader magazine as Top Cheerleader and won numerous cheer scholarships and titles. Graduating in 2011 from Oklahoma State University, a cheer powerhouse, Cory brings his talents to Hollywood sound stages now.
