Biography

Sudheer Attavar works in the Indian film industry, mainly in South films & Bollywood . He made his directorial debut with Kannada film "Parie" (2012);which is the first film in Kannada to get premiered for Bollywood freternaties.

He started his career as lyricist and received 3 Radio Mirchy awards viz Best Lyrics, upcoming Best lytricist and Critic award for his first Kannada lyrics " Marali mareyagi,for Ramoji Rao's film Savari" remake of Gamyam( Telugu); which become most popular song till today.Also he received "Rising Star Award" from Big FM for his lyrics.Popular singer Sadhana Sargam twice received awards for singing his lyrics.Two of his songs were sung by Shreya Ghoshal including super hit song "Ello Jinugiruva Neeru" from film "Just Maat Maatalli"

His film "Madi" won Best Social Awareness Film at RIFF 2021 and received Best Director award too.He received Best Film and Best Director award from Hon'ble Governor of Maharashtra along with 4 other awards for his film MRITYORMA in 6th edition of Moonwhite International Film Festival,Mumbai.

He later received Sahitya Academy Award for his book Gul-E-Bakavalli,and it represented in 8th world theatre Olympics

As the writer, director, and lyricist his Pan India film "Koragajja" (2025) is ready for release in 6 languages.He brings cultural depth rooted of coastal Karnataka & Kerala in this film. The film features Hollywoid- Bollywood actors like such as Kabir Bedi, Bhavya, Shruthi, ,Sandip Soparrkar Ganesh Acharya etc. . Music by Gopi Sundar includes performances by renowned singers like Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shankar Mahadevan, Javed Ali, Sharon Prabhakar, Armaan Malik, Swaroop Khan & others; making Koragajja a musically and culturally rich film.

He was earlier working as Asst Director General in Ministry of Communications as class 1 officer in ITS cadre. He is now venturing in to International project.
