Biography

British actor Mark Brent works across film and television. In 2026, he plays Gerald in Snapshot, directed by Joseph Archer (Raindance, Encounters). The film had its world premiere at the 79th Edinburgh International Film Festival, where it competed for the Sean Connery Prize for Excellence in Feature Filmmaking. Mark also worked on the feature film The Sense of an Ending, alongside Jim Broadbent. His screen credits include The Corridor, opposite Joanna Lumley, produced by Ridley Scott Creative Group's Black Dog Films and described by The Telegraph as "mind-boggling, funny and mildly disturbing"; Scarlet Says, opposite Emma Amos and Alexandra Gilbreath, which premiered at the BAFTA-qualifying LSFF; and Into the Surf, also starring Greg Austin, which premiered at the Palm Springs International Film Festival. Mark is also an accomplished horse rider and show jumper.
