Biography

  • Ian Gregg, born to single mother Michelle Gregg and an Atlanta native, has been performing in theatre since he was 11 years old. Because of an unexpected invitation to an audition by fellow thespian Mahdi A. Clark, Ian began his journey into the world of television and film acting. This invitation led to a performance for over 30 agents attending an exclusive showcase, and after several offers from esteemed agencies in both L.A. and the Southeast, he subsequently signed with the prestigious Houghton Talent of Atlanta, GA in March of 2013.

Ian has worked on over 35 sets in the past 3 years.

Ian studied the Meisner Method under Vince Pisani, the youngest in a class of seasoned professionals, and the Strasberg Method under Jayson Warner Smith. Ian also attended The Dekalb School of the Arts, known for its excellence in both academics and the performing arts. Always a remarkable student, he maintained a 3.5 GPA or above, and was a member of the Beta Club, the Drama Ensemble, and The International Thespian Society. His focus was a Drama Major with a Creative Writing Minor. Ian was one of the very few students to audition for and land leading roles in his first year of attendance (8th grade) at DSA.

Ian is still with his high school sweetheart. He loves animals and is a vegetarian.
