Biography

Sergio M. Villar (Santander, Spain) 1979

Graduated in Fine Arts (audiovisual) in 2007, in 2013 he directed his first fiction short film "Aroma-Sed", selected at festivals in Ireland, Mexico and Spain.

Also in 2013 was 1st Assistant Director of "Rearviewmirror" by Alberto Lavin, Best Narrative Short Film in the New York City International Film Festival

In 2016 he directed the video clip "Who's that boy" of the song composed and produced by Jacobo Calderón and performed by Marina Orta and Eduardo Rosa.

In 2021 he wrote, produced and directed "Itsaso", a brief experimental shortfilm shooted entirely with an Iphone 11.

Now in postpro of "Regular Cutback" second fiction short film as Producer and Director that has Jon Plazaola and María Córdoba as the main actors

At the end of 2023 film "El Poder del Silencio" like Line Producer, the first film of Saúl Pérez Ruano

Also is working for the production company Plano a Plano like Production Assistant
