Biography

Anastasiia Starova is a Ukrainian-Canadian writer and creator with a slate of scripted series and features in development under her banner, ARW Studio. Her debut dramedy 'A Remarkable Woman' - developed through MIDPOINT Series Launch and in collaboration with UK producer Pat Tookey-Dickson - won Best Co-Pro Pitch at Seriencamp in 2025. Her second series, 'Veles', was selected for the Series Mania Writers' Campus in 2024. Blending dark humour with emotional honesty, Anastasiia's work explores female identity, ambition, and the fragile pursuit of meaning.
