Biography

Silvio Lelli is the founder and executive producer for Proliflix. His passion to write was forged by his service in a naval helicopter squadron HC-4 during four military operations. After the service, he penned his first novel, White Moon on the Horizon, initiated the screenwriting curriculum at Villanova University, wrote Gotta' Be The Man and interned with Infinity Broadcasting at 94 WYSP during Howard Stern's takeover of terrestrial radio.

He created his first company, Dolfin Films Ltd. in Manhattan with Caroline Marshall, opened a subsidiary in East Hampton, participated in The Hamptons International Film Festival and Sundance Film Festival. He adapted two novels into screenplays, The Last Bastion and She Never Said Goodbye, and created King's Crown Entertainment.

He married in South Africa and was inspired by the wineries outside of Capetown during his honeymoon. Wine grapes were a perfect backdrop for storytelling and he ultimately founded Nationwide Wine & Spirits in order to pursue his passions for both industries. His first pilot, The Silvio, followed him as he sold wines to restaurateurs in his beloved hometown of Philadelphia. He co-created and hosted his second show, Cooked and Uncorked, whereby he paired a wine or a spirit with a guest chef's cuisine. They shot 48 episodes, were distributed on a FAST Network via Apple TV+ and Roku, and chefs from all over the country were on his show because of Silvio's influence, personality and where-with-all.

The pandemic may have ended Cooked and Uncorked but it didn't stop Silvio from writing The Contrarian. The Contrarian is a modern-day David and Goliath pharmaceutical business tale. This highly anticipated commercial project is very well sought after. Silvio has signed with Elevated Artists, budgeted the project, brought on committed actors, opened the doors to distribution, and looks forward to marrying the project with a bigger production house for potential theatrical release. He estimates a 129% ROI.
