Biography

Born in Orlando, Florida Andy Pace grew up watching movies and cartoons. His film career began by making stop-motion Lego films at the age of 10. During high school he created several promotional videos and documentaries for organizations such as FCAT, JROTC, and Relay for Life. Throughout grade school and college Andy continued to pursue film and art. At the University of Central Florida, he studied character animation. Along with 16 other undergraduate students he helped write, research, design and produce a 3D animated short film "Ember" (2013) that was submitted to SIGGRAPH 2013. Currently, Andy is Lead Animator on "AetherEdge" ( a 3D proof-of-concept 2013).

Used the family camcorder to film short stop-motion LEGO movies.

Initially attended UCF to study aerospace engineering and join the AFROTC (in hopes of becoming an Air Force pilot).
