Biography

Karl Heortweard is a Dutch composer and actor with international films, documentaries and TV shows to his name.

He has scored notable projects such as the Indian film "Love and Shukla" (Pöff, Netflix), a Chillian documentary "The Fabulous Gold Harvesting Machine" (Toronto' Hotdocs'), and the TV show "Project Rembrandt" for which he won the BMIM Award for best television music. His work stands out by bringing traditional and ethnic into the present with modern production and synthesis.

As an actor he played in films such as "The Forgotten Battle" (Netflix), "Silverstar" (Netflix) and a TV series named "Bij Heldere Hemel".
