Biography

Kenzie Elizabeth is a filmmaker and actor from Chicago. After training at The Second City and iO Chicago, she co-starred in the GLAAD nominated episode of Netflix’s improvised show "Easy", while her internationally awarded and viral short films, "Pinkwashing for a Cure", "Ponytail", and "Pathetic Woman", were featured on The Huffington Post, Women You Should Know, and reviewed by Autostraddle as "Art+Culture to Follow". In 2024, Kenzie wrote, directed, and starred in the short film "Brisket" -- an official selection at the Los Angeles International Film Fest, Chicago’s Reeling International Film Fest, Louisville International Film Fest, and winning Best Direction at the Toronto LGBTQ+ International Fest, Best LGBTQ+ Film at the Munich New Wave Fest, Best LGBTQ+ Film at London Movie Awards, and Best LGBTQ+ Film at Filmhaus Fest. Kenzie has been featured by publications such as Not Your Daddy's Films, Autostraddle, The Light Leaks, and featured on shows such as ABC’s "Bless this Mess", Peacock’s "Paul T. Goldman", NBC’s "Chicago Fire", and AppleTv+’s "Shrinking" . You can also see her in films such as "The Gutter" (2024) and "Basic" (2026). Kenzie is a member of SAG/AFTRA, and based in Los Angeles.
