Heather A. Ryan in Rosie (2012)

Biography

Heather A. Ryan

Biography

  • Heather Ryan was born in Des Moines, Iowa on Easter Sunday, April 2, 1972. She attended East High School and joined the United States Navy during the Persian Gulf war soon after graduation. Heather attended Drake University with the help of the Montgomery G.I. Bill, majoring in Political Science.

In May 1990 Heather graduated from Drake University and promptly moved to Washington, D.C. to work as a fundraiser for NARAL Pro-Choice America. For the next five years she toiled away as the Marketing Manager for the world's largest women's lobbying group in the world.

In 2005 Heather became involved in the casting and filming of her very first Unscripted Television project, "Party/Party" for Bravo Television. Upon completion of the project, Heather was hired as the campaign manager for the show's director, Eric Streit, and moved to Paducah, Kentucky to run his Congressional Bid for KY-01. Although Eric's primary election ended in a loss, as fate would have it, Heather ran for the very same office in the 2008 General Election.

While Heather was not elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, she was able to garner enough name recognition to build a small talent management firm in Paducah, which specialized in children. Heather's passion for pageants and politics proved a major benefit, as over the next three years she built the status and careers of some of the best known children entertainers in the Unscripted Television world.

Heather's specialization in children and pageant girls led her to write the 2013 book, "Unleashing a Momster" which garnered world wide attention and raised the waxed eyebrows of pageant parents throughout the United States.

Heather is a regular political contributor to "The Fallon Forum" web-radio show as well as a frequent guest on various news and entertainment shows whenever the topic of Pageants arise.
