  • Ginny was born in Stradford, Connecticut and her romance with the performing arts began with the American Shakespeare Festival Theatre. She performed in children's theatre, worked with the Gilbert & Sullivan Company and toured the South throughout the 70's performing in dinner theatre. As a young woman she also got a chance to perform with Sue Hyra in Anton Chekov's The Three Sisters. Ginny studied with Morris Carnovsky during her time at The University of Bridgeport and later was directed by him in the play Volpone by Ben Johnson. She spent many decades performing out West in Arizona, Colorado and Utah before finally moving to Ohio where she studied with Kevin McClatchy. She was an esteemed performer in Columbus, Ohio's 48-hour film festival for many years and her performance in There Will Be Blocks won awards from the Columbus 48 Hour Film Project 2013, the International Indie Gathering and the Wizard World Comic Con Austin Texas 2013. During her time in Ohio Ginny was also directed by Taylor Hackford in the movie Parker. Since 2015 she has resided in South Bend, Indiana performing and mentoring youth in the Shakespeare Notre Dame program, performing with Acting Ensemble, and she can be seen in Chicago Med, Chicago PD and Chicago Fire. She is also a film and camera acting faculty member at the Robinson Community Center and with the Robinson Shakespeare company.
