Joanna Marie a native of Neptune, New Jersey. Known for the Bobby Jones Gospel Hour (2008) where she performed background vocals for Grammy Award-winning gospel artist Tamela Mann.
Joanna made her professional acting debut as Beverly White, mother to Davarius White played by actor Tray Chaney of (The Wire 2002) in the movie 6 Hearts 1 Beat (2013), written & directed by Frank E. Jackson Jr.
Joanna was especially drawn to singing, modeling, dancing and acting from the time she could walk and talk. She went from starring in elementary school plays, middle school talent competitions and fashion shows, to singing in her high school classroom at the request of her teachers and classmates.
Joanna landed acting roles in musicals on military installations, singing on the praise and worship team in church, all while performing with an all female gospel go-go band called Rejuvenation.
Joanna made her musical debut featuring two new songs streaming on all major platforms: Up (2024) and My Man (2025).
