Biography

Marinko (Marco) Radakovic is a Croatian-American actor living on the North Shore of Boston, Massachusetts. He was born in Zagreb, Croatia (former Yugoslavia), and grew up in the middle-class neighborhood of Dubrava, a suburb of Zagreb.

At 14, Marco was selected for the Croatian National Soccer Team and in high school led his team to a national title along with world-famous international players including Alen Peternac of Real Valladolid and Zvonimir Soldo of Stuttgart. He attended the University of Zagreb Law School (Sveuciliste u Zagreb Pravani Fakultet) in Croatia following high school while pursuing a professional soccer career. These activities were cut short, however, due to the Croatian Civil War. When the war was over, having completed his honorable military service, Marco moved to the United States to resume his career in professional soccer, which abruptly ended 1.5 years later due to a career-ending injury.

Undeterred, Marco left professional sports and returned to his studies, this time at Salem State University in Massachusetts, graduating with his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice / Political Science. It was during this time that he began modeling and acting, which has turned into his life's passion.

Marco has been fortunate to earn roles in successful movies directed by award-winning starring artists such as: "Don't Look Up" (2020) directed by Adam McKay and starring Meryl Streep; "LAST" (2020) directed by Rome Romanne and starring Dr. Puskaric Co-star role himself; " I Care a Lot" (2020) directed by J Blakeson and starring Rosamund Pike and Peter Dinklage; "Vault" (2019) directed by Tom DeNucci and starring Theo Rossie, and "Chappaquiddick" (2017) directed by John Curran and starring Jason Clarke and Kate Mara to name a few.

On television, he has appeared in successful shows such as "Law &Order (Organize crime) ", "Succession", "Billions", "House Of Cards", "Blacklist", and "The Jack and Triumph Show". Marco continues to appear in commercials and print as well as proprietary training videos.

Marco is a dual-citizen of the United States and Croatia and resides in NYC/Boston. He is available for modeling and acting work in the US and internationally.
