Thijs gained initial recognition as a member of the Belgian group \#LikeMe, which was formed for the Fabric Magic and Ketnet television series of the same name. In the series, which aired from 2019 to 2021, she played the lead role of Caroline "Caro" Timmers. The \#LikeMe songs achieved significant popularity in Flanders and topped the Ultratop charts.
After \#LikeMe concluded, Pommelien Thijs embarked on a solo music career under the mononym "Pommelien Thijs". Her debut album, "Per ongeluk" (By accident), was released in 2022 and received critical acclaim. The album blends pop, R\&B, and electronic influences and features songs in Dutch. She has released several successful singles, including "Nu wij niet meer praten" (Now that we don't talk anymore) with Jaap Reesema, "Ongewoon" (Unusual), and "Erop of eronder" (All or nothing).
