Biography

Arden Shibley is a Canadian camera technician and drone pilot. He is a member of the International Cinematographers Guild, and is certificated under Transport Canada Part IX and FAA Part 107. A drone pilot since 2015, Shibley has instructed RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft System) ground school courses to beginners and professionals and continues to integrate aerial cinematography into small and large scale productions.

Shibley is best recognized for his work on Joe Pickett (2021), Under the Banner of Heaven (2022), and Finding Michael (2023).

Certified as a PADI Divemaster in 2016.

Graduated the University of Lethbridge with a BFA New Media in 2016.

Worked with the Canadian Olympic Committee as a photographer during the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics.

Holds an SFOC-RPAS for heavy lift operations in Canadian Airspace.
