Biography

David R Reid was born and bred in Massachusetts and spent most of his life there. In 2021 he moved to Texas, trading in the cold and snow in the winter for extra hot summers. The Boston accent has faded a little but can be called back up rather easily.

In 2011, got work as a movie extra, with his first film being "Here Comes the Boom", as a fight spectator in the final scene at the "MGM Grand". He got a couple of roles as a featured extra ("American Hustle") and became intrigued by the industry.

He began submitting and auditioning for various roles in many independent and major films. He was able to build his skills and experiences and soon was getting larger film roles containing lines, did some commercials, and tried his hand on stage - so much had changed since the days of being just a face in the crowd.

After a brief hiatus, now that his schedule has more free time and flexibility, he is looking to get back into the "biz" and revisit the fun of excitement in front of the camera.
