Mini bio

  • Jonah Kersey began acting professionally at age 15 in his hometown of Portland, Oregon. He received the foundation of his training under the guidance of American Academy of Dramatic Arts faculty teacher Jana Lee Hamblin and continued his education to the famed Playhouse West in Los Angeles, founded by Jeff Goldblum and Sanford Meisner.

Jonah was given the opportunity to work with Academy Award nominee Nicole Holofcener, appearing in the indie film festival hit "Sophie Jones" (2020). He is most recognizable from his roles in Facebook Watch’s original horror series "The Birch" (2019) and the Netflix original series "Trinkets" (2020). Jonah showcased his dance background as a backup dancer on the season finale of AMC Shudder’s "The Boulet Brother’s Dragula: Titans" (2022).
