ABOUT Tokyo-based composer and music producer Naoyuki Chikatani creates music for anime, film, television, advertising, and games. A graduate of Keio University, he has scored dramas for every major Japanese broadcast network - Fuji TV, NHK, TV Asahi, TV Tokyo, Nippon TV, MBS, and ABC TV - and composed music for 800+ commercials for global brands including Google, Sony, McDonald's, Suntory, Disney, and Pokémon.

His international credits include (Love Song) (2025), a Japan-Thailand co-production directed by Weerachit Thongjila, marking his first collaboration with a Thai director and demonstrating his commitment to cross-border storytelling. He is currently composing the score for Devils' Crest (Production I.G, 2026), the anime adaptation of Reki Kawahara's (Sword Art Online) latest novel, one of the most anticipated anime titles of the year.

His advertising work earned an ACC Gold Award at the 53rd ACC CM Festival (2013), Japan's most prestigious advertising music honor. Beyond screen work, he has designed sound for dome-scale live events including AAA's Color A Life Dome Tour (2018) and Yuzu's acoustic dome tour (2018-2019).
