Thibaut Buccellato is a French writer and director born in Paris. He began making short films in the early 2010s, winning Best Student Film at the Nikon Film Festival for Je suis une rencontre (2014). Since then, he has built a body of work circulating online and in international festivals, including In the Night (2019), starring Nash Edgerton (Best Foreign Drama at SF Indie Fest), How to say goodbye (2024), starring Stella Baker, (Brussels Pink Screen, Beijing Queer Film Festival), The Tears You Left with Me (2022), starring Leyna Bloom (Manchester Film Festival, Chéries Chéris Paris Film Festival) and Loving (2021), with a cast of over 40 actors, featured on Nowness and at Très Court International Film Festival.
