Cato Manuel Lizaraso Ekrene was born on March 10, 1979 in Villavicencio, Colombia. He is a producer and director, known for Run Faster (2017), Mango: Life Coincidences and Run (2016). He has been married to Silje Kristine Ekrene since September 8, 2007. They have four children.

A international award winner and nominated Producer,Director, Writer in USA and Europa. Winner and nominated many times for Best Director, Best screenplay, Best producer, Best film, Best Editor and Official selected over 55 times. Award of Excellence best screenwriter in Berlin 2018. Subject education in economics and management. Was Festival Director for The Norwegian International Seagull Short Film Festival for the 2017 show .
