Nigel Shinnors is an actor and filmmaker from Clare in Ireland. He started acting in 2011 and has been involved in a number of short films and theatre productions over the years. He graduated from Mary Immaculate College in 2023 where he received a degree in Contemporary and Applied Theatre Studies. When Nigel is not acting he can be found helping out behind the scenes in various production roles.
Two projects he was involved in went on to win awards in the worlds largest short movie competition MyRodeReel. These projects were Streetlights (2016) written and directed by Jason Reddan which won the overall Judges Choice Award. Nigel was a production assistant on this. The other project Pipe Dreams (2021) was co-written by himself and Jason Reddan which went on to win 3rd place in Best Comedy. While Nigel has been involved in many short film and theatre productions, recently he has appeared in film productions such as How To Train Your Dragon (Universial, Dreamworks).
