Raj Singh Jhinjar (born Rajvinder Singh) is an Indian actor and screenwriter primarily associated with the Punjabi film industry. Born in the village of Nainewala in Punjab's Barnala district, he spent part of his childhood in Hong Kong, where he developed a passion for Asian cinema and trained in Chinese martial arts. He later moved to Mumbai to pursue acting professionally, receiving formal training before beginning his career in television, advertising, and Punjabi films. Jhinjar has appeared in several acclaimed Punjabi films, including Pooja Kiven Aa, Sikander, Dil Vil Pyaar Vyaar, Harjeeta, Babbar, Balle O Chalaak Sajjna, and Blackia 2. Alongside acting, he has also established himself as a screenwriter. A defining chapter in his career came with the release of his self-written web series, Dreamland: Ikk Shehar Supneya Da. The first season premiered in 2023, followed by the second season in 2026. Through both seasons, Jhinjar showcased the full range of his acting and writing abilities, demonstrating his versatility as both a performer and storyteller. The series stands as a significant milestone in his creative journey and remains one of his most notable works to date.

Although Nabar (2013) was the first film Raj Singh Jhinjar signed, his first released film was the comedy Pooja Kiven Aa (2013).

Raj Singh Jhinjar got his first break in Mini Punjab (2009), where he was cast in a parallel lead role alongside the legendary singer and actor Gurdas Mann. However, he left the film due to the producer's lengthy and restrictive contract terms. The role was later played by Manav Vij.
After Mini Punjab, Raj Singh Jhinjar received another major opportunity the same year when he was cast in Chakk Jawana (2010). Once again, Gurdas Mann was playing the lead role. This time, director Simarjit Singh selected Raj to portray the film's main antagonist, a role he gladly accepted. However, before filming could begin, his visa expired, forcing him to return to Hong Kong. As a result, he had to withdraw from the project and lost the role.
When Sikander was released on 21 June 2013, Raj Singh Jhinjar's portrayal of Lala earned him recognition as a powerful and intense performer, firmly establishing him in the industry.
