Biography

Gaurav Khanna was born on December 11, 1980 in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. He is an actor and producer, known for Anupamaa (2020), Hazir Jawab Birbal (2015) and Love Ne Mila Di Jodi (2009). He has been married to Akanksha Chamola since November 24, 2016.

Gaurav is color blind, which he jokes about as a daily hurdle-especially with traffic lights.

His acting debut came via commercials, followed by a small cameo as Sunny in One Night Stand on Star One. He later starred in Bhabhi (2004) as his first lead TV role, kicking off over two decades in the industry with shows like Kumkum, CID (as Senior Inspector Kavin), and Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam.

Gaurav won the inaugural Celebrity MasterChef India in 2025.

Gaurav is winner of Bigg Boss season 19.

His portrayal of Anuj Kapadia in popular show Anupamaa skyrocketed his popularity.
