London Contemporary Orchestra is one of the foremost global studio recording ensembles for film and television music and commercial audio. As well as an industry-envied reputation for a collaborative and technically-advanced approach to studio sessions, LCO gives composers free rein to develop and incorporate avant-garde instrumental techniques knowing that the players will be able to deliver them.
Since its formation in 2008, LCO has collaborated on recording and live projects with numerous leading composers, including Hildur Guðnadóttir, Jonny Greenwood, Mica Levi, Steven Price, Jed Kurzel, Thom Yorke, Nainita Desai, Nicholas Britell, Craig Armstrong, Bryce Dessner, Anne Nikitin, Matthew Herbert, Clint Mansell and many others.
