- Berty Gunathilaka was born on August 2, 1924 in Ampitiya, Kandy, British Ceylon. He was an actor, known for Pem Mal Mala (1997), Samaja Sathuro (1969) and Lasseta Kodiya (1970). He was married to Soma Gunathilake. He died on March 6, 2022 in Kahawatta, Sabaragamuwa Province, Sri Lanka.
