Pearl Gonzalez is known for Kingdom (2014), Guerra (2017) and Behind Bruised (2022).

Pearl was formerly the WMMA #1 ranked amateur straw-weight in the world.

Pearl once lost a jiu-jitsu match against MMA fighter Fallon Fox before Fallon came out as a transgender male competing as a woman. The loss was so upsetting to Pearl she considered not competing further.

Pearl was a former Golden Gloves champion (2009).
