Biography

Jamie Bacon is an actor, writer, and producer working across film and television. Most recently, he appeared in the BAFTA-winning BBC drama Mr Loverman and the BFI and BBC feature film Dreamers. He also stars in the upcoming drama series The Land, created by Dan Fogelman, for Paramount alongside a slate of feature films currently in post-production.

Jamie first gained recognition for his performances in Netflix’s White Lines, Brighton alongside Phil Davis, Lesley Sharp and Larry Lamb, the BBC series Father Brown, The Bunker (The Hoarder) opposite Mischa Barton, and Amazon’s The Peripheral alongside Chloë Grace Moretz.

Alongside his acting career, Jamie is an accomplished writer and producer. He wrote and produced the award-winning feature Into the Mirror, which received multiple festival awards and featured an original score by acclaimed composer Johnny Jewel (Drive, Twin Peaks, Lost River).
