David Cruz is an international Film Director and Cinematographer whose vibrant, high-concept visual style is forged at the intersection of diverse cultures. He established a powerful professional foundation in the South American television landscape, working as a vital part of the Directing department for the prominent Colombian national broadcaster "RCN TV". Consistently driven to craft original narratives, he also co-founded Diip Studio, where he wrote and directed the award-winning animated short "El Sueño de Dante". Exploring complex gender dynamics in Latin America, the film captured international acclaim and was acquired for broadcast by networks like INCAA TV.
Equally adept at commanding fast-paced studio floors and framing intimate indie narratives, Cruz’s versatile eye led him to serve as the Official Photographer and Content Creator for the hit broadcast network series "Noches con Platanito" on Estrella TV in California.
