Eliza Frakes

Eliza Frakes is a theater and film maker working out of New York, Los Angeles, and Austin. Her plays have been produced professionally across the country and abroad, her films have been awarded by Wildsound Film Festival and BIFF. In 2026, her play "Girl Time" was selected for the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival in region 6. In 2025, her play "Certain Death and Other Considerations" received its New York premiere at The Tank, after a smash-hit run at the Edinburgh Fringe and a sold-out West-Coast tour in Los Angeles, Portland, and Bozeman. She is a playwriting MFA candidate at UT Austin through the Michener Center for Writers.
